That is worth 10 classes for the price of 8! These cards are available to members and non-members for $32 and $48 respectively. We will keep the card and punch for every class you attend. You will not lose out if you miss a class.

 

Additional Info:

  • All water exercise classes will meet at the Stoney Creek Inn pool, located right off Hwy 20, across from McDonalds.
  • Upon entering the hotel, tell the front desk that you will be attending the water exercise class and they will issue you a key. You will need the key to enter the pool. You must return the key at the end of the class.
  • Please arrive 5-10 minutes early for all water classes, as changing facilities are limited. We ask that you bring you own towel.
  • All other classes will meet in the Studio room located in the Midwest Health and Fitness Center.

Fitness CenterClass Descriptions

20/20/20: Push your body to the limit with this new class that gives you an all over, well balanced workout. The challenge of cardio, strength training, and stretching/flexibility!

 

Abs Class: Work on the waistline! This 15 minute class emphasizes isolating and strengthening the abdominal muscles while safely protecting the lower back.

 

Active Stretch: This class applies principles of various stretch techniques to increase flexibility and improve balance & movement.

 

Boot Camp: Make the most out of your time. This military style boot camp will keep your heart pumping with a combination of hardcore cardio and intense sculpting regiment.  It’s fun, challenging, and a total body workout!

 

Dynamic Duo: Tara and Shannon will show you the best of both worlds. Tara will start the class with a warm-up and cardio and Shannon will finish with strength and flexibility! Wow, two for the price of one!

 

Having a Ball: The stability ball or Swiss Ball is perhaps the most versatile piece of equipment currently available. It utilizes the neuromuscular system in a way that most other exercise equipment does not – requiring the integrated involvement of strength, flexibility, and balance. Alternatively, the ball can be used to provide support in more challenging exercises for those not quite up to the skill or strength level needed for a particular movement. This is also an excellent opportunity to learn some new exercises you can perform with you very own Swiss Ball.

 

High Noon: A 30 minute “high intensity” toning class using rubber bands and dumbbells. High repetitions, muscular fatigue, laughter, but no aerobics.can perform with you very own Swiss Ball.

 

Yoga

Pilates: The ultimate mind-body method to tone, streamline and realign your body. Emphasizes building core strength to improve posture, flexibility and balance.

 

Power Yoga: A dynamic combination of strength, sweat and spirituality. Sculpt and tone the muscles of your body and your mind.

 

Step: This cardiovascular workout is performed using basic step patterns and emphasizes proper form and technique. This is a class that you can definitely take to your own level. Bring good, supportive shoes and dress comfortably.

 

Step-n-Sculpt: This class combines step and power sculpt for one fabulous total body workout.

 

Having a BallTotal Body Challenge (TBC): We aim to strengthen each and every muscle in your body, using either your own body weight or rubberized tubing as resistance. Not only will you increase your muscular strength and endurance, but you balance and coordination will improve as well. Don’t let the name scare you; this class can be modified by the participant to increase or decrease the amount of intensity.

 

Water Exercise: An energized class for all levels using the water as resistance. This low-impact class allows one to exercise with reduced stress on the joints. This class will help you improve your stamina, strength and flexibility.
