Assisted Living

Galena Stauss Assisted Living believes that independence is a quality of life to be enhanced, cherished and preserved.  The community offers a variety of apartment settings for individuals and couples with supportive staff and services.  The apartments include a full kitchen, ample closet space, walk in showers, and all are handicapped accessible. 

Healthcare services are coordinated by our Registered Nurse Director.  Our professional staff is available 24 hours a day, seven days a week to respond to the changing needs and/or desires of our tenants and their families.  Tenants are provided with routine personal care such as bathing, dressing, grooming, medication management and wellness assessments. We are pleased to assist our tenants with their transportation needs to Midwest Medical Center and Midwest Health Clinic, located just a few short miles west of our facility.

Amenities

Social events, activities and outings are an important way for tenants to stay connected to others and develop friendships. We provide a daily schedule of activities for tenants to choose from, and special events to celebrate individual occasions and holidays. Family members are always welcome.

Wellness promotion and regular exercise programs are an important component of overall health. We provide many options for physical exercise depending on a tenant’s ability and desires.

We offer selected meal plans developed by our Dietician so our tenants enjoy pleasing, delicious and healthy food of their choice. Mealtimes offer an opportunity for relaxation and socialization. Sharing a meal forms connections to other people, encourages communication and interaction and builds important friendships.

Other amenities include water, gas, electric, housekeeping services, interior & exterior maintenance, an emergency call system, security doors, deck, courtyard and free parking. Additional services are available for pre-determined fees.
