John M. Searles, Jr., MD

Dr. Searles graduated from the University of Colorado medical school, Denver, Colorado. He completed his General Surgery Internship and Residency and Head and Neck Reconstructive Surgery fellowship at Emory University Affiliated Hospitals in Atlanta, Georgia. He received his training in Plastic Surgery at Eastern Virginia Medical Center, Norfolk, VA. Dr. Searles is certified by the American Board of Surgery and the American Board of Plastic Surgery. In addition, he has an added Certificate of Hand Surgery. Past appointments have included, Chief of Plastic Surgery at the Richard L. Roudebush Medical Center for Veteran's Affairs and, Assistant Professor of Plastic Surgery at Indiana University Medical Center and the University of Kansas. He is a member of the American Society of Plastic Surgeons, the Iowa Plastic Surgery Society, and the International Society of Hair Restoration Surgery. He also specializes in cosmetic and reconstructive surgery, as well as surgery of the hand and hair transplantation.
