At the 30th Annual Planetree Conference in Chicago, Midwest Medical Center won the coveted Spirit of Planetree Architecture and Design Award. This national award is given for excellence in architectural and interior design. Thirteen hospitals were nominated.

In addition, Julie Soat, PTA, BS, CLT, and member of the MMC Physical Therapy Department team, was presented with a Caregiver Award. The Caregiver Award is given to the person who most exemplifies the essence of what it means to positively impact the way healthcare is delivered.
