John Cooke
John Cooke is now retired after serving as a Senior Vice President with McDonald's Corporation in Oak Brook, IL. He began his term on the Midwest Medical Center board in 2005. |

Cheryl Farruggia
Cheryl Farruggia joined the Board in January of 2008. Cheryl holds an MBA in Long Term Care Administration from Georgetown University, a BA in Nutrition from Whitewater University and she is the former Executive Director of Beacon Hill Retirement Community based in Lombard, Illinois. Cheryl relocated to Galena in 2001 to pursue her 20 year dream of owning and operating a Bed & Breakfast in Northwest Illinois, which she has now succeeded as owner of the Cloran Mansion. She is a current Board member and past President of the Galena Area Chamber of Commerce. |

Dale Henze
Dale Henze is the former principal of Galena Middle School. He is now a Professor at University Wisconsin Platteville. He began serving on the board in 2004. |

Helen Kilgore
Helen Kilgore is a new member of the Midwest Medical Center board. Her term began in May of 2007 and she is the former President of the Jo Daviess County Board of Health and the current Mayor of Elizabeth, Illinois, a neighboring community to the East of Galena. |

Bob Miller
Continuing his long commitment to community service, Bob Miller joined the Board in 2009. The former engineer and Iowa State University alum spent 36 years working for John Deere, Kohler Engine Company and Case Corporation before retiring in 2000. Since that time he has enjoyed spending time with his wife Lanora and their two sons and five grandchildren, and pursues a range of hobbies that include golf, fly fishing, cooking and reading. For the past 20 years he has also been an active volunteer for numerous organizations, including the Juvenile Diabetes Foundation. He currently serves on the Staff Parish Relations Committee at St. Luke’s United Methodist Church in Dubuque, IA and the Galena Territory Association Architectural Review Committee. |

Bill Morden
Bill Morden was the advertising director for Sears. Now retired, he lives in the Galena Territory and serves as Treasurer for the Midwest Medical Center Board of Directors, a term which began in 2006. |

Frank Waites practiced family medicine for nearly 40 years in Galena. Now retired, he began serving on the board in 2006. |
